St. Pete Extra! May 2022

IT'S THE MOST [LOCAL-WATER-QUALITY-CONCSIOUS] TIME OF THE YEAR

That's right, the fertilizer ban is back. The rainy summer weather can cause nutrients from fertilizer to reach bodies of water and lead to environmental issues like algae blooms, fish kills and water quality problems (that's bad). To help prevent these environmental mishaps, the yearly fertilizer ban is in effect for the summer. Refrain from using fertilizer June 1 - September 30.

Never heard of it? The SunRunner will be a new train-like transit line that will connect DTSP to South Pasadena and St. Pete Beach. It'll be Tampa Bay's very first Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) project offering a modern, fast transportation service.
