Public Meetings Scheduled for the Week of May 23, 2022

The State Fire Council will meet on Tuesday, May 24, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. The meeting will be held in person at 8895 E Main St, Reynoldsburg.


The State Fire Council makes recommendations to the Governor, the General Assembly and other state agencies about any needed changes in laws, rules or administrative policies relating to fire safety. The Council also may recommend revision of the rules in the State Fire Code adopted by the State Fire Marshal.


The Ohio Home Inspector Board meeting scheduled for May 24, 2022, has been canceled.


The Ohio Home Inspector Board reviews orders and application determinations and hears appeals from orders regarding claims brought against the home inspection recovery fund. If a licensee is found to have violated licensing law, the Board may order disciplinary action which could include suspending or revoking a license, accepting surrender of the license in lieu of discipline, issuing a reprimand, assessing a fine or ordering additional continuing education.
