Owls Roll to Clemson for Saturday Match With Tigers

Match Preview
The Kennesaw State women's tennis heads to South Carolina for a match with Clemson on Saturday (Jan. 25). Clemson will be the fourth Power 5 opponent KSU has faced this season. The Owls have already played Georgia Tech, Kentucky and Alabama.

Scouting Clemson
Clemson is 3-0 on the young season. The Tigers have beaten Presbyterian, North Carolina A&T, and College of Charleston.

The Series
Saturday's match between Kennesaw State and Clemson will be the first between the two programs.

The Last Time Out
The Kennesaw State women's tennis team came up on the short end of a 7-0 loss to Alabama on Sunday (Jan. 19) inside the Roberta Alison Baumgardner Tennis FacilityAlabama won the doubles point and six singles matches to win the match. and fought tough at the No. 3 doubles position before losing 7-5 to Luca Fabian and Jacqueline Pelletier. and were trailing 5-3 in the tiebreaker to Alba Cortina Pou and Sasha Gorchanyuk when the doubles point was clinched. In singles, won her opening set 6-4 before falling 6-0, 6-2 in the final two sets on court two. and both fell in straight sets in tough matches.
