Rainbow Babies & Children's Foundation Ride the Rainbow 2024: Rainbow Takes Gold, Presented by Serpentini Auto Group

CLEVELAND, Ohio- Rainbow Babies & Children's Foundation's biennial Ride the Rainbow event benefiting University Hospitals Rainbow Babies & Children's (UH Rainbow) will be held the evening of Saturday, May 4, at Cleveland Public Auditorium (500 Lakeside Avenue).

Ride the Rainbow 2024 will be presented through the generosity of Serpentini Auto Group. In leadership roles are event Co-Chairs Carran Gannaway, Rebecca Heller, and Catherine Levy.

The evening will feature Auctioneer Lydia Fenet, best-selling author, podcast host and founder and CEO of the Lydia Fenet Agency. Lydia previously served as Christie's Global Managing Director of Strategic Partnerships and reshaped the fundraising landscape as the world's leading charity auctioneer.

Wrapped around a uniquely presented "Rainbow Takes Gold" theme, more than 800 guests are expected to celebrate UH Rainbow's Olympic caliber care. The event includes dinner, dancing, and a live and silent auction, as well as a raise the paddle element.

"Ride the Rainbow is a remarkable event that raises critical funds in support of our patients and their families," said Patti DePompei, President, UH Rainbow and MacDonald Women's hospitals and the Rainbow Babies & Children's Foundation Chair in Leadership and Innovation. "Under the leadership of the Rainbow Babies & Children's Foundation, we aim to raise more than $1M on May 4th. The generosity of our supporters makes the extraordinary possible every day at UH Rainbow."

Since its inception in 2004, Ride the Rainbow has raised more than $10.2 million to support UH Rainbow. The funds from the 2024 event will support innovative programs for children and families ensuring Northeast Ohio's children have access to world class pediatric health care for decades to come.
