Knudsen, Weathers Earn Peach Belt All-Conference

AUGUSTA, Ga. - Augusta University women's cross country junior McKenzie Knudsen and sophomore Micah Weathers earned Peach Belt All-Conference status on Saturday morning for placing in the top 15 at the 2018 PBC Championships at Redcliffe Plantation in Beech Island, S.C.

The Jaguars were led by Micah Weathers (Richmond Hill, Ga.) at the PBC finals with a time of 18:41.8 to take fifth overall. Jags junior McKenzie Knudsen (Loganville, Ga.) carded a top-10 finish in eighth place with a finishing time of 18:57.5. Weathers and Knudsen both pick up the All-PBC honor for the second-straight season.

Seated 10th in the NCAA Southeast Region, Augusta's women's squad has been seventh or better so far this year, with a third-place showing at the Jaguar XC Invitational being the best mark so far.

The NCAA Southeast Regionals take place on Saturday, Nov. 17 in Gainesville, Ga. hosted by the University of North Georgia.
