On April 27, 2024, Mr. Sirojiddin Muhriddin, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan received Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the People's Republic of China Mr. Sun Weidong.

During the meeting, the sides discussed issues of strengthening and expanding cooperation of strategic partnership between Tajikistan and China in political, military-technical, trade-economic and cultural-humanitarian spheres.

The sides also discussed joint plans for comprehensive preparation of the upcoming state visit of President of the People's Republic of China Xi Jinping to the Republic of Tajikistan.
