At approximately 9:25p.m. last evening, State Police attempted to stop a vehicle operated by Emery as he traveled south on I-787 at a high rate of speed. A Trooper pulled behind his vehicle and activated their emergency lights, attempting to initiate a traffic stop. Emery refused to comply and sped off. The Trooper pursued the vehicle onto I-90 westbound, but terminated the chase as the car approached the city of Albany.
Emery exited I-90 and continued traveling on Livingston Ave. His vehicle was observed swerving in and out of traffic before he ultimately sideswiped another vehicle. Emery fled on foot and entered a property on Livingston Ave. before being apprehended by police.
