City Park Pool and Iowa City splash pads to open on Memorial Day Weekend

City Park Pool and the City's three splash pads will open to the public beginning Memorial Day weekend!

City Park Pool

City Park Pool is located outdoors on Park Road in Upper City Park on the northwest side of Iowa City. The pool is expected to open on Memorial Day weekend with three days of fun in the sun. On May 28 - 30, 2022, open swim will run from 11 a.m. - 6 p.m. Regular pool schedules and pricing rates are available by visiting icgov.org/Pools.

City Park Pool can be rented out for birthday parties, reunions, and other social gatherings on select Saturday and Sunday evening. To view available dates and read policies, visit the pool rental page.

Splash Pads

Iowa City splash pads are open daily, 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., beginning Memorial Day weekend on Saturday, May 28, 2022, through Labor Day, Monday, Sept. 5, 2022. There is no fee to use the splash pads.
