Congressman Bob Latta (R-OH5) recognized and honored students from Ohio's Fifth Congressional District on their acceptance to one of the U.S. Military Service Academies at a reception on Sunday, May 5th, at Camp Perry in Port Clinton. The students were nominated by Latta and have received offers of appointment for the Class of 2028 at their respective academies.
"It was a privilege to nominate these young students from Ohio's Fifth District to attend one of our prestigious U.S. Military Service Academies," Latta said. "I was honored to thank them in person for being willing to step up and serve our country. As they embark on their next chapter, I'm filled with pride knowing these students will continue to lead with distinction, and I want to wish them the best of luck."
