#AdvocacyMatters: The Clearest Picture

Our work is most effective when focused on and rooted in the real lived experiences of Ohioans with disabilities. Every year, we connect with the communities across Ohio with a survey to understand their personal experience and the barriers they face. To give us the most complete picture, we aim to reach as many Ohioans with disabilities, their families, service providers, and advocates as possible.

In the coming weeks, we'll launch our latest version of this survey, the results of which will be used to inform and refine our goals and objectives for the next year. These goals and objectives guide our work by identifying the issues and areas we need to address. You can read our current Goals and Objectives at www.disabilityrightsohio.org/goals.

This year we are committed to reaching and making meaningful contact with a diverse representation of all Ohioans with disabilities, and this is where we need your help. We are looking for allied organizations to help amplify this survey and extend our connection into communities we might not otherwise reach. The survey will be available in multiple accessible formats and in different languages.
