Potholing on June 27 at SE TV Highway & Minter Bridge Road

WHAT

  • The City of Hillsboro Water Department will be potholing to gather utility related information.
  • Potholing includes using a portable vacuum excavator to dig small holes in the roadway, sidewalk, or landscaping areas to locate underground utility lines.

WHERE

  • Potholing will occur at the southwest corner of Southeast Tualatin Valley Highway and Southeast Minter Bridge Road intersection.

WHEN

  • To minimize impacts, work is scheduled during the evening from 9 pm to 2 am on Monday, June 27, 2022, weather and noise variance permitting.

IMPACTS

  • No water service disruptions are planned. Customers in the immediate area may experience some project-related noise during work time.
  • Southbound traffic on Southeast Minter Bridge Road will be redirected for a short distance by traffic control signs and flaggers.
  • The southbound bicycle lane and sidewalk on Southeast Minter Bridge Road will be closed. The northbound sidewalk will remain open.
  • The TriMet bus stop on Southeast Tualatin Valley Highway and Southeast Minter Bridge Road will remain open.
