1ts Reaches Salalah, Oman

Ships of First Training Squadron of the Indian Navy (INS Tir, Tarangini, Sujata and CGS Sarathi) are on a visit to Salalah, Oman as part of Overseas Deployment. Captain Aftab Ahmed Khan, Senior Officer, First Training Squadron paid a courtesy call on Commander Sulaiyam Humaid Saleem Al-Shabibi, Acting Southern Naval Area Commander, Oman Navy. Training initiatives and issues of bilateral naval cooperation between the two countries were significant points of discussion during the call. During the visit, the ships will interact with officials from Royal Navy of Oman and other dignitaries. To further strengthen the bilateral relations and maritime cooperation between Oman and India, the ships will also participate in a joint exercise.
