Risk Adjustment Data Submission Deadlines

The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) issued a May 1 notification on relevant deadlines for submission of risk adjustment data for Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) and Medicare Advantage (MA) organizations. The notice includes additional information on how late submissions for mid-year data runs will be handled and encourages organizations to submit data as it occurs and well in advance of the deadline to provide adequate time to remedy errors such as data rejections or validation errors.
