Today, we kick off Older Americans Month (OAM), a time to recognize older Americans' contributions, highlight aging trends, and reaffirm commitments to serving the older adults in our communities.

Our theme this year is Powered by Connection, which recognizes the profound impact that meaningful relationships and social connections have on our health and well-being - and the vital role that connectedness plays in supporting independence and aging in place.

Throughout the month, join ACL and the aging services network in highlighting the importance of social health, promoting opportunities for older adults and communities to engage, and sharing stories and strategies that demonstrate the power of connection.
