Officers Arrest Suspect for Trafficking of Fentanyl in Dorchester

At about 12:15 PM, on Monday, April 22, 2024, members of the Drug Control Units arrested Axel Aguasvivas-Martinez, 30, of Dorchester, on drug trafficking charges.

Officers were conducting an ongoing drug investigation and execution of search warrants in the area of 85 Esmond Street. As a result of the search warrants, officers recovered multiple plastic bags containing Fentanyl, approximately $6,483 in US currency, and a digital scale. The fentanyl was later determined to be approximately 70 grams.

Aguasvivas-Martinez was placed under arrest and charged with trafficking of class A. He is expected to be arraigned in Dorchester District Court.
