RESCHEDULED: Lane and ramp closures for overnight pavement repair work in Jackson County, May 6-8

Pavement repair work will take place on the I-49 West Outer Road in Grandview, MO.

JACKSON COUNTY - Crews will perform the following pavement repair work on and near West Outer Road in Grandview, MO. (Rescheduled dates, times, and locations below). All work is weather dependent.

Monday, May 6 through Wednesday, May 8 from 7 p.m. until 6 a.m. (evening and overnight)

  • West Outer Road (I-49)/(W. Frontage Rd.) CLOSED from Blue Ridge Blvd. to Harry S. Truman Dr.
  • Access CLOSED to the West Outer Road (I-49)/(W. Frontage Rd.) to 15th St.
  • Access CLOSED from the West Outer Road (I-49)/(W. Frontage Rd.) to the access road (located between 15th Street and Harry S. Truman Dr.)
  • West Outer Road to East Outer Road Loop CLOSED.
  • Ramps at West Outer Road and I-49 CLOSED. This includes the on and off ramps.

Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
