San Antonio (November 29, 2021) - The City of San Antonio will host a virtual telephone town hall meeting TODAY, November 29th at 6 p.m. During this virtual meeting, residents can provide input and help shape the allocation of American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) Funds. Residents can register for the virtual telephone town hall in advance to receive a call when it's time to join the event. Community feedback will be shared with City Council during a briefing on December 9, 2021. City Council will ultimately adopt a plan for the use of these funds in January of 2022.

The telephone town hall meeting will be held TODAY, Monday, November 29th at 6 p.m. Residents can register at www.saspeakup.com/ARPAtelephonetownhall to receive a call when it's time to join the meeting. Registration closes three hours prior to the event. They can also watch the meeting live by visiting www.sanantonio.gov/tvsa, on the City's Facebook page or watch on television channels: AT&T 99, Grande 20, Spectrum 21, and digital antenna 16.1.

"Over the past month, we have held eight in-person town hall meetings for the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) and have gathered valuable input and ideas from our residents. This telephone town hall meeting is another convenient way to participate," stated City Manager Erik Walsh. "We understand that our residents are busy and have many priorities. Meetings like this are a convenient way to hear directly from our community from the comfort of their homes. Please join us, ask questions, and let us know what your priorities are for the ARPA funds. We look forward to hearing from you."

The City also opened an ARPA survey, which will remain open through December 1, 2021. The survey gives residents the opportunity to weigh in on their priorities for ARPA funds. City residents can take the survey at www.saspeakup.com/arpasurvey or by calling 311.

More information about the telephone town hall meetings and survey are available at www.saspeakup.com.
