Blasting Notice: Eureka Stone Quarry September 19th, 2022

Notice

Eureka Stone Quarry, Inc. will be conducting blasting activities at the Warrington Quarry located on Easton Road in Warrington Township on

Monday, September 19th, 2022, between 10:00am AND 2:00pm

As mandated by the Pennsylvania Department of EnvironmentalProtection, all blasting activities will be monitored and conducted according to all State and Federal laws.

Prior to the detonation, depending on your proximity to Warrington you may hear the following:

  1. At least 1 minute but no more than 2 minutes prior to the detonation, an air horn signal of 3 bursts, each lasting 5-10 seconds will be sounded.
  2. Following the inspection of the blast area, a single 10-second air horn signal will be sounded.

Adverse weather conditions, equipment breakdowns, personnel illnesses and other unforeseen issues may make it necessary in the interest of safety to conduct unscheduled blasting operations on occasion.
