Online Community Survey Now Available

JERSY TOWNSHIP, OH - Jersey Township will embark on updating the community's Comprehensive Plan - Jersey 2050 - that will help prepare the Township for future generations. In working with a consultant, Crossroads Community Planning, the Township will develop the new plan that will include a series of goals, objectives, recommendations and actions steps that will help guide land use, housing, infrastructure, and policy decisions over the next few decades.

Crossroads Community Planning has developed a broad, 12-month public participation plan. An on-line survey has recently been launched to capture resident and stakeholder input. This survey is designed to gain insight on the community's perceptions regarding existing services, housing, and infrastructure and to help identify the community's desires and needs to accommodate future development.

Residents may also request a paper copy of the survey by calling the township office at 740-927-7923.

The Township has also created a Community Committee, comprised of residents, business owners and other community stakeholders to help guide the planning process. There will also be a series of public open houses held throughout the 12-month planning process where residents can learn more about the planning process and provide direct feedback.
