Announcement: The Second CBCG Fintech Conference Tomorrow in Podgorica

The second international CBCG Fintech Conference on the topic "Role of Fintech in the Democratisation of the Financial Landscape" organised by the Central Bank of Montenegro (CBCG) in cooperation with ICT Cortex and the Association of Banks of Montenegro will be held tomorrow, on 7 October in Podgorica.

The Conference will be opened on Friday, 7 October, from 8:30 a.m. at the Hilton Hotel by the CBCG Governor, Radoje Žugić, the Minister of Finance, Aleksandar Damjanović, and the Head of the EBRD Office in Montenegro, Remon Zakaria.

This year, the CBCG Fintech Conference will be an opportunity to hear experts from the central banks of the Netherlands, Belgium, Georgia, and international fintech companies from Great Britain, Israel, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, Mastercard, as well as the Montenegrin banking and ICT sectors discussing the latest fintech achievements and challenges in this field.

During the Conference, the final part of the second CBCG Fintech Hackathon will also be opened by presenting five solutions that made it to the finals after the pre-selection. The names of the Hackathon winners, held on the "Know Your Customer - Easy and Secure" theme this year, will be announced on Sunday, 9 October 2022.
