Ylivieska's first Fennovoima Energy Evening will be held on the 16 of November. Professor Juhani Hyvärinen will host the event where the future of nuclear power will be discussed.
Juhani Hyvärinen knows what he's talking about - he has nearly 30 years of experience in the nuclear field and he knows how to talk about the topic in plain language. He is Professor of Modelling in Nuclear Engineering at the Lappeenranta University of Technology. Before his career as a lecturer and researcher, he worked for over 19 years at the Finnish Nuclear Safety Authority Finland (STUK) and for several years as Fennovoima's Chief Nuclear Officer.
The Energy Evening will take place on Thursday, 16 of November, from 5.30 to 7 pm. The event is held in the auditorium of the Vierimaa campus of Centria University of Applied Science. Coffee will be served before the event, from 5 pm onwards.
