City Of Las Vegas Hiring Continues For Part-Time Safekey Positions

Adults looking for nearby part-time, hourly employment working with elementary school-age children are invited to apply online for the city of Las Vegas Safekey and ReInvent Before- and After-School Programs (RAP). Available positions include Safekey/RAP site leader and Safekey/RAP site assistant. Positions average 19-25 hours per week with a pay range of $12-$14 per hour, plus up to $800 in bonus pay. Virtual / telephone Interviewing and hiring will be conducted as soon as the application is processed. Candidates are strongly encouraged to apply at once.

The Safekey Program and ReInvent After-School Program offer enrichment and engagement programming before and after school at 70 Clark County School District elementary schools within the city of Las Vegas. The programs provide a safe environment for children in kindergarten through fifth grade to work on homework, have a nutritious snack and enjoy educational enrichment and recreational activities. Before-school programming is not offered at all locations. School begins Aug. 8, and these remaining positions need to be filled as soon as possible.

Applicants must be at least 18 years of age; a high school diploma or High School Equivalency credential is preferred. First-aid and CPR certification will be required by employment start date.
