Bridge Repairs Scheduled Next Week for the Little Mexico Truss Bridge in Jackson Township, Snyder County

Montoursville, PA - Motorists are advised that a portion of Route 1013 (Little Mexico Road) will be closed in Jackson Township, Snyder County, for bridge repairs.

On Monday, April 29, 2024, through Friday, May 17, 2024, Little Mexico Road will be closed between Benfer Drive and the Little Mexico Campground while Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) bridge crew completes permanent repairs to the Little Mexico Truss Bridge. Work includes placing additional bridge beams at the abutment ends of the structure. Work will be performed between the hours of 7:00 AM and 3:00 PM, weather permitting.

A detour using Route 204, Route 304 will be in place for the duration of the project. The project is anticipated to be completed by Friday, May 17, 2024, weather permitting.

Motorists should be alert, slow down, expect delays in travel, and drive with caution.
