He was a true national artist and a real legend of the renowned Vakhtangov theatre school. He was known and loved by millions of people for his dedication to his calling and his impressive performances on stage and on screen, and for his ever youthful spirit and abundant talent.'

Vladimir Etush passed away in Moscow on March 9 at the age of 96.
