Radio Aire unveiled as Official Radio Supplier to the Columbia Threadneedle World Triathlon Leeds

The number 1 radio station for Leeds will be on hand throughout the two days supporting thousands of amateur triathletes who will be enjoying the triathlon challenge of the Columbia Threadneedle World Triathlon Leeds.

Sport fans from around the country will also be making the trip to Leeds to watch the world's best triathletes battle it out in the fourth leg of the ITU World Triathlon Series and Radio Aire will be on hand in Roundhay Park delivering fun filled activities for all the family in the Event Village.

Thousands are already signed up to take part in the amateur events and with grandstand tickets selling fast and only a few hundred left on general sale for the elite racing on Sunday 11 June, the Columbia Threadneedle World Triathlon Leeds is expected to be a highlight on the UK and Yorkshire's sporting calendar. A perfect match for Radio Aire who pride themselves on being at the heart of the local community and bringing the fun factor to local events.

With less than two months to go until the much-anticipated UK Sport National Lottery-funded event, organised by British Triathlon in partnership with Leeds City Council and the International Triathlon Union (ITU) entries still remain in GO TRI, sprint and standard distance events.
