Chicagoland: Join Us on Wednesday for a Free Screening of “Relighting the Flame”

Kodie Kinney, right, is set to attend a screening of "Relighting the Flame" on Wednesday in Chesterton, Indiana.

Director Carl Kriss and at least two of the film's stars are scheduled to appear at the screening, along with some other VIPs.

Do you live in Northwest Indiana or the greater Chicago metropolitan area? If so, we hope you will join us at 4 p.m. CT on Wednesday for a free screening of "Relighting the Flame."

Edwin Alcox, who appears in the film "Relighting the Flame," is set to attend a screening of the film on Wednesday.

The 26-minute documentary film tells the story of the Cleveland-Cliffs workers, many of them members of the United Steelworkers (USW), who are revitalizing America's steel industry in cities throughout the Midwest. One of the locations prominently featured in the movie is the Cleveland-Cliffs Burns Harbor mill, which is why we're screening the film at the USW Local 6787 Hall in Chesterton, Indiana.

Carl Kriss, the award-winning director of the film, is set to attend the event. So are Edwin Alcox and Kodie Kinney, two steelworkers who appear in the movie. Others slated to be there are United Steelworkers International President Dave McCall and Lourenco Goncalves, the chairman, president and CEO of Cleveland-Cliffs. Our President Scott Paul will be on hand as well.

McCall and Goncalves will offer remarks, and Paul will conduct a brief Q&A with Kriss and the cast members after the movie concludes. Food and a selection of beverages will be provided following the screening. Click here to RSVP.
