BGMC/GVI Patient Thanks Nurses for Excellent Care

BGMC/GVI Patient Thanks Nurses for Excellent Care

Updated: 10/29/2021

In August of 2021, Geary was experiencing shortness of breath and was sent to Buffalo General Medical Center/Gates Vascular Institute (BGMC/GVI). At BGMC/GVI, it was discovered that he had dangerous blockages in his arteries and he would need open-heart surgery.

Geary states, "The nurses on vascular interventional suites (VIS) and cardiovascular intensive care unit (CVICU) were so pleasant and nice. You didn't see one nurse that wasn't smiling. Before my surgery, I was nervous and the nurses knew I was not at ease. The nurses promised me they would be right by my side throughout the surgery. When I woke up from surgery, they were right there, right by my side."

Last week, Geary purchased DiBella's subs for the 2nd and 3rd floor in appreciation.
