Happy Retirement Mike! Wishing You Happy Adventures in Every Journey Ahead

After a lengthy career in the steel industry, Mike announced his retirement. From May 1st on, he can begin the next chapter of his life - spending time with family, a new home and the many adventures that lie ahead.

'Thank you, Mike, for not only your hard work with the CISC, but your commitment to making the steel industry in Canada better each and every day,' says Scott Pope, Canam Group, Inc. 'I have had the pleasure of working alongside you and have learned a great deal. You have always been professional and willing to take time out of your busy day to help people become better in their roles. I wish you nothing but the best in your retirement and thank you for all the work you have done to make this industry better.'

'On behalf of the Ontario regional members and associates I would like to extend our congratulations on this retirement and a special thank you for the efforts and skills that you shared with this association.' says Bill Munns, CISC Ontario Regional Chair. 'You have worked through some of the strangest times in any industry, yet your ability to connect with stakeholders and quarterback the various groups and committees has been an inspiration. I have personally appreciated Mike's energy and cheerful demeaner keeping us informed and providing opportunities for deeper involvement in the industry. When Mike took the Regional Manager role at CISC, we knew we were getting a dedicated and experienced representative, and it is bittersweet to see him move on to retirement. Who knows, in a short time, retirement may lose its novelty and we will be able to work together again.'- Wishing you all the best in retirement!'

On behalf of entire team at CISC and CSSBI, our Member and Associates, and all the industry contacts you have been involved with, we extend our sincerest gratitude for all your efforts. Your friendship has truly been appreciated and we know that all those you meet in the coming years, will feel the same way. We will miss your energy and dedication to helping make the steel construction industry better everyday.

We wish Mike all the best as he embarks in this new phase of his life!

Sincerely,

From everyone here at the CISC and CSSBI Team.
