Twenty military transport aviation aircraft with Russian peacekeepers from the Collective Peacekeeping Forces of the CSTO arrived from Kazakhstan at the Chkalovsky airfield

Twenty military transport aviation aircraft of the Russian Aerospace Forces with Russian peacekeepers from the Collective Peacekeeping Forces of the CSTO arrived from Kazakhstan at the Chkalovsky airfield near Moscow.

At the airfield, the military personnel of the Airborne Troops unloaded weapons, military equipment, property, after which they marched to the point of permanent deployment.

Today, MTA aircraft continue to deliver personnel and equipment of the Airborne Troops after completing peacekeeping missions to the Chkalovsky airfield in the Moscow Region.

Earlier, units of Russian paratroopers from the collective peacekeeping forces of the CSTO, who completed the tasks of protecting socially significant objects in the Republic of Kazakhstan, carried out a flight by military transport aircraft of the Russian Aerospace Forces from the Almaty airfield to the Ivanovo-Severny airfields (Ivanovo region) and Chkalovsky (Moscow region) and returned home.

On January 14 of this year, after loading equipment and personnel, peacekeeping contingents from Armenia, Belarus and Tajikistan returned to their homeland on Il-76 military transport aircraft of the Russian Aerospace Forces. The unit of peacekeepers of the Republic of Kyrgyzstan returned to the point of permanent deployment, having made a march on regular equipment on their own.

The return of all peacekeepers to their permanent locations is scheduled to be completed by January 19.
