First-year students -- get ahead for fall with First Flight!

Are you an incoming first-year student? Get ahead before the Fall semester starts by attending First Flight!

First Flight is an opportunity to receive class credit while experiencing KSU before the regular Fall 2022 semester begins! Let KSU's world-class professors open your mind to the world of economics and the intersection of wealth, people, and choices, all while earning two credit hours toward one of your general education requirements. You can have fun, meet new friends, and lighten your load for the regular fall semester while staying on track to graduate in four years.*

This residential program will help you get a head-start on making friends, getting to know the campus, and participating in student programming. In addition to engaging daily programs that connect you to campus life, students will take a weekend excursion trip to an Atlanta attraction and more!

Best of all, the first 400 students who apply and participate will receive a $300 First Flight Scholarship towards their First Flight program cost! Check out the Program Fees page for more information.

*Dependent on your degree plan - taking 15 credit hours during each fall and spring semester allows you to earn 120 credit hours in four years.

NOTE: You must be accepted to KSU as a first-year student for Fall 2022 and sign up for a New Student Orientation session to be accepted to First Flight.
