Analog Ambient Light Sensors from ROHM in Stock at TTI

Fort Worth, Texas - December 6, 2021 - TTI, Inc., a leading specialty distributor of electronic components, is now stocking the BH1603FVC Ambient Light Sensors from ROHM Semiconductor, a new product targeted at LCD backlight screen adjustment in control panels, displays or hand-held devices. Primary market applications include industrial, medical, safety and security equipment.

The BH1603FVC is an analog current, output ambient light sensor uniquely packaged in a low-profile surface mounted package. This IC is most suitable to obtain the ambient light data for adjusting LCD and keypad backlight power of portable displays. It is possible to detect wide range at high resolution. The sensor detects current lighting conditions and is able to convert them to digital values. With a wide dynamic range and high sensitivity, this sensor can determine the illuminance very accurately. Designers will find this function critical for automatic backlighting adjustment in control panels, cameras or hand-held display applications.
