BROOKLYN BOROUGH PRESIDENT ANTONIO REYNOSO ANNOUNCES ADMINISTRATION'S PRE-K-12 GRADUATION AWARDS 2022
A 'Merit,' 'Perseverance,' and 'Brooklyn for All' award will help recognize students across Brooklyn and the many qualities that contribute to a community's success
BROOKLYN, NY (May 5, 2022) Brooklyn Borough President Antonio Reynoso today announced his administration's Pre-K-12 graduation awards for the 2022 season. School administrators in Pre-K-12 schools throughout Brooklyn will be able to recognize up to three unique students per graduating class this graduation season. A 'Merit,' 'Perseverance,' and 'Brooklyn for All' award will help recognize students across Brooklyn and the many qualities that contribute to a community's success.
"Academic ability, grit, and a strong sense of community are qualities I believe every society should foster in their students to ensure they thrive and help structures around them grow stronger for the future," said Brooklyn Borough President Antonio Reynoso. "I'm excited to help celebrate the potential, tenacity, determination, and generosity our children and young adults in Brooklyn have to offer."
Recognitions include:
Open to all Pre-K-12 schools in Brooklyn, school administrators will be able to submit names to the Office of the Brooklyn Borough President for graduation awards through an online form at www.brooklyn-usa.org/brooklyngrads/. Each graduation class in Brooklyn will be given the opportunity to submit no more than one name per award category, but all three are not mandatory to submit for.
Submissions for graduation awards will be open until Friday, May 20, 2022 at 2:00 PM ET. Awards will be mailed to schools during the week of June 13, 2022.
