Hyosung will participate in 'ANEX 2018 (Asia Nonwovens Exhibition and Conference)' which will be held for three days from June 6 through June 8 in Tokyo, Japan.
As the world's largest nonwovens exhibition, ANEX is an international exhibition in which diaper or sanitary product manufacturers introduce their products and technologies, and the future of the industry is forecasted.
At this exhibition, Hyosung will broadly showcase the Comfort and Power Fit products of creoraⓇ, its globally-leading spandex brand. Comfort is characterized by soft fit, and as it is very flexible even with low content, it can be used to make lighter and softer diapers. Power Fit is a product boasting of excellent strength suitable for the characteristics of a diaper that should not leak or flow out.
Hyosung is planning to install a customer counseling corner in its exhibition booth and increase contact with global diaper makers to further promote the excellence of its products and expand its sales network. The company also aims to listen to customer needs in the diaper market and utilize them as ideas for product development in the future.
'As the industry related to senior citizens is growing due to the aging of the population, demand for spandex in the diaper and sanitary product market for not only infants, but also the elderly, are continuously increasing,' stated Cho Hyun-joon, Chairman of Hyosung. 'We will raise awareness of creora to more customers through ANEX and establish a solid foothold for the creora brand in related industries by reflecting various needs.'
The Nonwovens Exhibition and Conference is an exhibition that is held in the Americas (IDEA), Europe (INDEX) and Asia (ANEX) on a rotation basis. As many as 700 sanitary product makers from around the world are scheduled to participate in this exhibition, and more than 30,000 visitors are expected. As of 2017, Japan's total diaper and sanitary product exports amount to about $1.6 billion. Japan is the world's number 1 sanitary product exporter, accounting for roughly 10% of global diaper exports (worth approx. $15.8 billion).※
