ATF, Danville Crime Stoppers and National Shooting Sports Foundation Offer $6K Reward in Danville Federal Firearms Licensee Burglary

DANVILLE, Va. - The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives is offering up to $2,500 in conjunction with National Shooting Sports Foundation (NSSF) who are offering up to $2,500 and the Danville Crime Stoppers who are also offering up to a $1,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction for those responsible for the burglary of the Riverside Pawn Shop located at 2384 Riverside Drive.

On January 4, an unknown suspect forced entry into Riverside Pawn shop where multiple firearms were stolen.

"ATF will continue to collaborate with our partners by offering our investigative and analytical resources to ensure that the stolen firearms are recovered in an effort to disrupt the cycle of criminal acquisition and misuse of firearms.," ATF Washington Field Division Special Agent in Charge Charlie J. Patterson said. "ATF's Crime Gun Intelligence Center will continue to extend resources needed to apprehend the individuals responsible for this criminal act. We are also calling upon community members to provide any information that will assist us in locating and holding those involved accountable for this crime before they are used in a crime of violence."

The Danville Police Department is seeking to identify the individual pictured below, who is believed to be involved in the crime.
