Traffic alert: Closures on 21st and S streets this weekend

Several streets in downtown Sacramento will be closed as City of Sacramento crews perform a sewer installation and roadway pavement work.

The closures will occur Saturday, April 20 through Monday, April 22 on S Street from 20th Street to 22nd Street and on 21st Street from R Street to T Street.

"Motorists are encouraged to drive with caution as well as follow traffic control and detour signs," said Carlos Eliason, spokesperson for the City's Department of Utilities. "Some traffic delays are possible."
