Namirial is supporting the work of "Digital Innovation Observatory" of the highly acclaimed School of Management of Politecnico di Milano. In this interdisciplinary think tank professors, researchers and analysts are addressing key matters of digital innovation.

Namirial experts engage in the Digital Innovation Observatory sharing their insights and pick up inspiration for accelerating dematerialisation projects in private and public services based on digital trust services. Namirial is an active member of the independent Working Group on Digital Identity, which was set up to broaden the understanding of the potential of digital identity and authentication systems. In 2020 the working group was executing in depth empirical research and analyses focussing on:

• State of adoption and development of digital identity systems both in Italy and internationally
• Italy's position in relation to the European context
• Degree of maturity of Italian users in using the various digital identity tools available?
• Critical issues encountered by users in the use of digital identity
• Evolutions of the reference regulatory landscape at national and international level
• Main technological trends characterising this market

On November 19 research results will be presented by researchers Alessandro Perego, Luca Gastaldi, Valeria Portale, Giorgia Dragoni and Clarissa Falcone.

At 10.15 am CET research results, European Commission take on Digital Identity as well as business perspective going into 2022 will be discussed in the expert panel "Innovative trends and directions of evolution on the international scene " including Antonio Taurisano, Managing Director, International Markets, Namirial.
