COVID-19 Urban Monitoring Survey in poor areas of Dhaka and Chittagong

The COVID-19 Urban Monitoring Survey in poor areas of Dhaka and Chittagong is a multi-topic phone survey focused on socio-economic outcomes, health and safe practices. The baseline surveys DIGNITY (Dhaka) and CITY (Chittagong) were conducted before the COVID-19 crisis and were representative of low-income areas and slums. The DIGNITY survey, administered between July and September 2018, collected information from 2,376 individuals across 1,302 households. The CITY survey data was collected from 1,289 individuals across 805 households between September and October 2019. For the monitoringsurvey, a representative sub-sample of 1,500 households from both cities was targeted, with three rounds completed as of June 2021: in June 2020, September 2020, and January 2021.
