Pipe Replacement Project to Begin Next Week on Rummerfield Creek Road, Bradford County

Montoursville, PA - Motorists are advised that a daylight road closure will begin next week on Route 1021 (Rummerfield Creek Road) in Herrick and Standing Stone townships, Bradford County, for a pipe replacement project.

On Monday, May 6, 2024, a three-week pipe replacement project will begin on Rummerfield Creek Road at three separate locations. Projects will be completed consecutively starting in Herrick Township moving south to Route 6. While each project is being completed, Rummerfield Creek Road will be closed between the following roads.

  • Route 1017 (Herrickville Road) and Goose Hill Road (T-483) in Herrick Township.
  • Goose Hill Road and Moseir Road (T-616) in Standing Stone Township.
  • Route 6 and Morgan Road in Standing Stone Township.

A detour using Route 6, Route 409, and Herrickville Road will be in place Monday through Friday, while work is being performed. Work will be performed during daylight hours.

Work on this project is expected to be completed by Friday, May 24, 2024, weather permitting.

Motorists should be alert, slow down, and expect delays in travel.
