Mayor Thomas P. Koch and the Department of Natural Resources will host the city-wide clean-up initiative, Cleaner Greener Quincy, on Saturday, May 4th from 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Each year, volunteers, including community & school groups, businesses and individuals, come together to help with outdoor clean-up around the City of Quincy. Basic tools including rakes, shovels and bags can be picked up at the Quincy Parks Department on Friday, May 3rd from 12:00 PM - 3:00 PM and Saturday, May 4th from 8:00 AM - 10:00 AM at One Merrymount Parkway.

"This year marks the 35th anniversary of Cleaner Greener Quincy," shared Mayor Koch. "Over the years, it's been wonderful to see so many people taking pride in our parks, fields and school grounds by assisting in this springtime clean-up. The efforts help support the year-round work of the Department of Natural Resources to beautify our City."

To thank all of the volunteers, Mayor Koch will host the Mayor's Appreciation Cookout following the clean-up at 12:30 PM at Pageant Field.
