Appeal to locate man missing from Sydney's north west

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man missing from Sydney's north west.

James Shephard, aged 41, was last seen on Epping Road, Epping, about 8am on Sunday 14 August 2022.

When he could not be located or contacted, officers from Ryde Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries to locate him.

Police and family hold concerns for James's welfare.

James is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 175cm tall, of slim build, with light brown hair and unshaven.

He was last seen wearing a blue and gold coloured jumper with 'Ford' written across the front, tracksuit pants and joggers. He may also be wearing a baseball cap.

James is known to frequent the walking tracks along Terry's Creek and Browns Waterhole which encompasses the suburbs of Eastwood, Epping, Marsfield, South Turramurra and Pymble.
