The national team of the combined arms formation of the Southern Military District, stationed in the Rostov and Volgograd regions, arrived to prepare for the district stage of the Warrior of Peace competition of the Army International Games at the combined arms training ground Prudboy near Volgograd.

The servicemen will have to go through five stages of the competition: Athlete, Professional, Sniper, Cavalier (Madam) and Erudit. The contestants will demonstrate high physical fitness, the ability to handle small arms and cold weapons, overcome an obstacle course, show accurate shooting skills, as well as their knowledge and creative talents.

The training system includes trainings of the military-sports, military-professional stages of the competitive program, where military personnel train practical skills in fire training and in performing physical exercises for strength, endurance, speed and agility.

To prepare for the creative competition Cavalier (Madam), artists of the Volgograd garrison house of officers have been involved, who teach military personnel pop singing and dancing.

In the near future, the national team of the formation will take part in the district stage of the competition, according to the results of which, the winner of the championship will represent the Southern Military District at the all-army stage of the Warrior of Peace-2022 competition.
