US-56/Main Street reduced to one lane on July 6

Traffic Alert: Starting at 6 a.m. on Wednesday, July 6, the Kansas Department of Transportation will reduce US-56/Main Street to one lane from Cedar Street to Sycamore Street. This allows crews to install the next lane of concrete. During this time, flaggers will direct traffic flow through the work zone. Work is scheduled to be completed by 6 p.m. Motorists should expect major delays and are strongly encouraged to use an alternate route.
