Withdrawals at Sber ATMs now available through SberBank Online app
SberBank customers can now withdraw at Sber ATMs without their plastic cards or NFC-enabled gadgets by using smartphones with the SberBank Online mobile application.
To use the new service, choose "Withdraw using SberBank Online" in the ATM menu and scan the code with your smartphone camera. The rest (amount display and card choice) will be done on your phone. No receipt will be printed out for environmental reasons. If you need one, you can always access it in the SberBank Online application.
The new option is especially relevant for people whose phones do not have NFC - they will now be able to withdraw even if they do not have their bank card with them.
The function was piloted across a limited number of ATMs in 2021, while now 23,000+ Sber ATMs support this option.
