First Sitting of the Subcommittee for Monitoring the Agricultural Situation in Marginal - Least Developed Areas of the Republic of Serbia - Areas with Difficult Working[...]

Milija Miletic reminded the attending that the Subcommittee he chairs had in the previous legislature met 38 times and the topics of its sittings focused on improving the quality of life of people in small, underdeveloped, hilly and mountainous areas and life in the countryside. The goal of the Subcommittee formed within Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management Committee is to listen and talk to people in underdeveloped areas in order to hear and solve their problems.

The members of the Subcommittee discussed future activities that will be focused on agriculture at large in underdeveloped areas and expressed hope that the meetings will be attended by representatives of the relevant ministries and institutions.

The sitting was chaired by Subcommittee Chairman Milija Miletic, and attended by the following Subcommittee members and deputy members: Olja Petrovic and Velibor Stanojlovic.
