Road Work Update: U.S. 12 Shoulder Repairs, Temporary Lane Closures in Spring Grove

From the Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT): The Illinois Department of Transportation announced today that repairs to the shoulders on U.S. 12, between Sunset and Wilmot roads in Spring Grove will require lane closures, down to a single lane with flaggers, weather permitting, from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 16.

Access to businesses and residences will be maintained.

Motorists can expect delays and should allow extra time for trips through this area. Drivers are urged to pay close attention to flaggers and signs in the work zones, obey the posted speed limits and be on the alert for workers and equipment.
