KRISPY KREME® Celebrates Grand Opening of Pensacola Shop Tuesday

120 guests will win FREE Original Glazed Doughnuts Each Month for a Year

Pensacola, FL (Oct. 14, 2019) - Pensacola residents and dignitaries will celebrate the area's newest destination for hot, fresh doughnuts and premium coffee on Tuesday, Oct. 15, when Krispy Kreme hosts the grand opening of its shop at 1730 East Nine Mile Road.

In addition to providing fans its iconic Original Glazed® Doughnut and other menu offerings, including the new Monster Batch Doughnuts for the Halloween season, the new Krispy Kreme shop includes a 24-hour drive-thru, digital menu boards and online ordering.

Starting Tuesday and through Sunday, Oct. 20, Krispy Kreme will randomly surprise 120 guests with a "Celebration Dozen Ticket" that provides one free dozen Original Glazed® Doughnuts every month for a year.

The shop employs 89 team members and managers, many of whom will join local dignitaries and residents to officially open the shop with a ribbon cutting ceremony Tuesday at 9 a.m.

"Known for our iconic doughnuts and premium coffee, Krispy Kreme is one of the most beloved sweet treat brands around," said Tim Mossor, Krispy Kreme District Manager. "We are excited to expand our footprint in the Pensacola community and look forward to serving our new neighbors melt-in-your-mouth doughnuts and delicious drinks, morning through night."

The shop will be open seven days a week: Sunday through Thursday from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m., and Friday and Saturday from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. The drive-thru will open at 6 a.m. Tuesday and stay open 24 hours a day.
