Eastern New Mexico University Announces Presidential Search Campus and Community Forums

PORTALES, NM - Aug. 11, 2022 - Eastern New Mexico University is in the process of a nationwide search for the next President/Chancellor of the University System. As part of this process ENMU announced today that they will be holding focus groups for ENMU stakeholders at the Portales, Ruidoso, and Roswell campuses Aug. 29-31.

ENMU will also be inviting community members to offer feedback at community forums on Monday Aug. 29 at 5:00 p.m. and at noon on Wednesday, Aug 31 at the Roosevelt County Chamber of Commerce conference room. These meetings will allow groups to provide feedback about the most important qualities and attributes of the next University president. Virtual attendance at these meetings will also be an option, or community members can provide feedback online using the comment form on the website.

"ENMU's presidential search is important for our System and for the communities we serve." said Patrice Caldwell, ENMU System Chancellor. "The search committee welcomes insights from our community and will seriously consider them."
