Two Week Look Ahead for the West Union Street Improvements Project

Shelly & Sands crews will continue working on West Union construction as follows for the next two weeks:

• Work will continue on the installation of the 12-inch water line to be completed by May 6th.
• Service line installations will continue until all customers are connected to the new water line. From Jefferson Avenue to Shafer Street the water line will be filled, pressure tested, and chlorinated by Friday, April 26^th.
• Excavation work from the fairgrounds to the hospital entrance, then removing pavement from Davison Court to West Union Street. Work will continue installing new storm structures and underground drains from the bridge to Herrold Avenue.

Access to all business locations remain open with stone drives placed for access.

Please use caution in the work zone. One way traffic on West Union Street from the bridge to the hospital entrance, and two-way traffic from the hospital entrance to Shafer Street. One way traffic on Herrold Avenue.
