All are Invited to Saturday's Public Safety Family Fun Day in Lot R of Nissan Stadium

The men and women of the Nashville Police Department are proud to take part in presenting Saturday's Family Fun Day in Lot R of Nissan Stadium, which will feature displays and informational booths from a host of police department components, along with participation from the Nashville Fire Department, Davidson County Sheriff's Office, Metro Parks Police, and the Department of Emergency Communications.

The weather forecast looks great for the event, which will take place from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. In addition to checking out the cool displays (including a helicopter, vehicles, interactive crime prevention booths), persons considering a public safety career in Nashville will have the opportunity to speak with recruiters and receive information on how to submit applications.

All of Nashville and the surrounding area is invited to Saturday's event. Food trucks will also be on hand, as will Box 55, a non-profit entity that helps keep police officers and firefighters hydrated at the scenes of prolonged incidents.
