Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 133 East 37th Street

May 1, 2024- Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of two women about 1:40 a.m. today (May 1).

The identities of the deceased victims, 39 and 22 years of age, are pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant N. Miyako and Detective C. Bowling reported:

HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting at the above address and found the victims suffering from gunshot wounds. Paramedics pronounced them deceased at the scene.

Preliminary investigation and evidence indicated an unidentified suspect walked to the residence, fired multiple times and then fled on foot. The suspect's face was concealed.
